Dr. Aaron Callahan is a board-certified internal medicine physician with more than 20 years of experience delivering comprehensive, relationship-centered primary care. Known for his calm demeanor and practical, evidence-based approach, Dr. Callahan partners closely with patients to help them understand their health, prevent disease, and navigate complex medical decisions with confidence.
He completed his medical degree at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at Duke University Hospital. Over the course of his career, Dr. Callahan has developed particular expertise in chronic disease management, preventive care, and the coordination of care for adults with multiple medical needs.
Dr. Callahan believes exceptional primary care starts with listening. He takes the time to build long-term relationships, ensuring every patient feels heard, respected, and supported in reaching their health goals. When he’s not in the clinic, he enjoys cycling, restoring old cameras, and spending time with his wife and two grown children.
