Marivic Guanso, FNP

Nurse practitioner Myla Guanso is devoted to her patients and their ongoing health. She started practicing in 2019 with clinical interest in adult primary care and gerontology. Prior to becoming NP, she's been a nurse for 23 years. She promotes engagement of her patients in their own care. She cultivates a relationship of trust and care to address the different ailments and issues that her patients face. Whether it's a well visit or sick visit, she appreciates being involved in the interventions that lead to healthier outcomes. She's focus on preventative medicine and will assist her patients with their care plan so they stay healthy.

She completed her master of science in nursing at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. Myla is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the Filipino American Nurses Organization of Grand Canyon State (FANOGCS). She also holds PCCN certification in adult progressive care nursing while working as a nurse. She is fluent in Tagalog.

On a personal note, Myla is married and has four children. She enjoys hiking, dancing, traveling, watching movies and simply spending time with her family.
