Randy Savageau, FNP-BC

Nurse Practitioner Randy Savageau is dedicated to the well-being of his patients. With over 10 years of nursing experience in the ER and ICU, focusing on medical and cardiac care in acute hospital settings, he has developed a strong foundation in assessing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic diseases. Before joining Village Medical, Randy worked as a Nurse Practitioner in cardiovascular and wound care specialties for several years.

Randy earned his undergraduate degree in business from Arizona State University, in Tempe. He furthered his education at Chamberlain University, completing both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Nursing. Randy also completed an internal medicine residency program , with a focus on metabolic syndromes, and diabetes and cardiovascular disease management, prevention and care. While his patient focus has primarily been on adults, he also provides care for children as young as 5 years old.

In addition to his medical career, Randy is a proud US Army Veteran, having served as an enlisted Combat Engineer. He is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American College of Cardiology (ACC).

On a personal note, Randy has been a resident of Arizona since 1988, after growing up in Colorado. He cherishes spending time with his family, which usually involves playing cards and enjoying outdoor pursuits like camping, kayaking, archery, fishing, hunting and traveling.
